Hi, I am Dani! I make handmade hats; I knit them from locally produced wool, then I put them through a felting process and finally, I shape the hat so it gets its optimal shape.

Dani Shapka is a slow fashion brand. Each hat takes about 5-6 hours to make. The focus is on a sustainable approach, using long-lasting, high-quality materials.
I make the hats all by myself, which means that I can only produce a limited amount per week. Each hat is thoroughly thought-through, warmly designed, and unique.

By buying less in general and supporting smaller local brands with handmade items instead, you help go against the fast fashion industry of mass-produced products, which has a big negative environmental impact. Fast fashion is the second largest polluter on our planet.
Buying handmade items will make them feel more valuable through the awareness of the time and effort put into them. By focusing on good materials instead of cheap materials, you ensure to have an item that will last for a longer time.
